Requirements:
Language: fluent in speaking & writing in Swedish and English.
Finance background / Experience with non-profit association/Student Unions preferred.
Located in Sweden, Stockholm.
Knowledge about the Swedish tax system and laws.
Can work independently & self-organized.
About the role:
The Student Union of Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts & Design is looking for a Treasurer to join us long-term. You’ll support the Union Board with financial matters and help keep our non-profit association running smoothly. You’ll work closely with a young, dynamic group of art & design students.
The treasurer should be willing to learn about the activities in the association's life and processes of Konstfack University.
This position is quite flexible. You can work remotely or get a spot in our Office in Hägersten, if needed. You work on an hourly basis and can organize your time freely.
Tasks:
Prepare annual balance sheets and income statements, and prepare financial reports for the annual meeting & analysis of the last term.
Advising on the financial implications of the organization’s strategic plan.
Day-to-day accounting, handling payments, and reimbursements monthly.
Prepare the documents for the annual audit report.
Answers emails regularly regarding questions about finances from board members and union members.
Has an overview of the budget - keeps the board informed on an ongoing basis.
Ensuring that the association's taxes, fees, and debts are paid on time, and being responsible for the income tax returns.
