we are the students’ united voice at konstfack.

The purpose of the Student Union is to promote the members' studies and good spirit and good fellowship over institution boarders. The Union (‘kåren’ in swedish) is the students' united voice at Konstfack.

Membership Benefits

  • Christmas Market

    Every year, the union organises the famous Konstfack Christmas Market. Only union members can book tables and sell.

  • SSSB Student Housing

    SSSB is a project by Stockholm’s student unions that offers student housing to union members around the city on a queue basis.

  • Union Gallery

    The Union has it’s own gallery space, which union members can book to host exhibitions or events!

  • Student Groups

    The union supports student groups, helping out with funding and organisation. If you want to start a group yourself, you can reach out to us for help!

  • Renting equiptment

    If you have an opening, or an event at Konstfack, you as a union member can borrow one of our big speakers which you can connect to a phone or computer.

  • Free Museums

    As a Konstfack student you get free entry to a bunch of art museums around town, such as Moderna Museet and Liljevalchs.

  • Mecenat

    Mecenat is where you will have your student ID, which you need for the student discount at SL. As a union member you get a special card. It’s pink!

  • Discounts

    On top of the discounts that come with your Mecenat card, you can also get discounts at a number of art supply stores and other places around Stockholm. Click the link for a list of ones we have found!

  • Parties

    The union hosts parties and pubs throughout the year, with music, drinks and possibilities to meet other students.

  • Scholarships

    Once a year, we award scholarships to graduating students who made a significant contribution to student life at Konstfack!
